Paul Richard Kaminski

RAPID RIVER — Paul Richard Kaminski, age 76, of Rapid River passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the UP Health System in Marquette. Paul was born May 28, 1947 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Bernard and Isabelle (Verbonse) Kaminski. He worked at the Chrysler Engine Plant in Kenosha for many years. He retired and moved to Rapid River and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Gerald J. ‘Jerry’ Pepin, Jr.

GLADSTONE — Gerald J. “Jerry” Pepin, Jr., 86, of Gladstone, passed away on Monday evening, May 20, 2024, at Christian Park Village. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31 from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church with Rev Tim Ferguson officiating. A committal service and military honors will take place on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Gardens of Rest Cemetery. A complete obituary will be forthcoming. SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Dennis M. McGinn of San Diego, Calif., died Thursday morning, May 16, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Diego after a short illness. He was 85. Denny was born Sept. 9, 1938 in Escanaba, the son of Denis and Catherine (Semer) McGinn. He attended St. Joseph Grade School, St. Joseph High School (1952-54) and then Holy Name High School (1954-56), graduating with the second class of the consolidated Catholic high school.
