ESCANABA — Harriet Emily Ihlenfeldt, age 100, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba. Harriet was born on June 7, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Daisy (Bengry) Alvord. Harriet grew up in Marquette and graduated from Graveraet High School. She later graduated from Northern Michigan University and continued on at the University of Michigan earning her Masters Degree in library science.
