ESCANABA — John "Max" Whitney, age 93, of Escanaba passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by the Anderson Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone.
BARK RIVER — James A. Wunder, 92, of Bark River (Ford River Twp.), passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at his home with his loving family at his side. Among survivors include his wife, Carol and children, Deborah, Brenda, Linda, James, William, Jeffery, Timothy, and Douglas. Visitation will be on Friday, September 19th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. ESCANABA - Debra A. Menard, 61, of Escanaba, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Christian Park Health Care Center following an illness. A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, September 25th at Mugshots beginning at 5 p.m. Among survivors include her brothers, Dennis, Dave, Dale, and Doug Menard. CORNELL — Lilly Grace Wight, 94, of Cornell, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 13, 2025 with her family at her side. Among survivors include her children, Charles (Judy), Gordon (Stella), and Ben (Vicky) Wight. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, September 17th at 11 a.m. at South Ford River Cemetery with Pastor Lewis Hague officiating.
