Terry R. Alexander

Terry R. Alexander, age 76, of Rapid River, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at his home. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Gladstone. Funeral services honoring Terry will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Terri Branstrom officiating and a luncheon will be served in the church hall to follow. Terry will be laid to rest in the Rapid River Cemetery. A full obituary will be forthcoming and will be announced by the Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County.

Derec Nelson

Derec Nelson, 26, of Escanaba, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Among survivors include his wife, Lauren and mother, Valerie Nelson. At this time services are pending. A complete obituary will be forthcoming. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.

Michael P. Quinn, age 73, of Rapid River passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. His loving wife Christine Quinn is listed among the surviving family. A full obituary will be forthcoming. Alneida H. Weissert

Alneida H. Weissert, 87, of Escanaba, passed away early Friday morning, October 17, 2025 at Bishop Noa Home. She was born on May 26, 1938 in Escanaba, daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Wunder) Scheeneman. Alneida was raised in Ford River and attended Escanaba School. Alneida worked for OSF St. Francis Hospital in the housekeeping department for 25 years, retiring in 2016. She enjoyed hunting, bird watching, and loved flowers and gardening.
