BARK RIVER — Ronald W. Demers, 90, of Bark River, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Schoolcraft Medical Care in Manistique. He was born on August 17, 1935 in Manistique, son to Wilfred J. and Mary A. (Fox) Demers. Ron was raised and also graduated from High School in Cooks. Ron served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1956. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
