It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share Zachary Michael Nardi (42), passed away peacefully with family at his home after battling 6 years of terminal cancer. Born February 5, 1984 in Escanaba, Michigan to Michael and Kathleen Nardi.
He graduated from Escanaba High School and went on to become a proud Spartan. He graduated Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. After a brief period as a banker, he was employed by Bosch for the last 18 years.
Zack had a strong passion for the game of golf. He spent much of his free time perfecting the game, traveling and planning golf trips and more with friends and family and playing with his beloved golden retriever Driver.
Zack will forever be remembered for his love for life and the ability to put a smile on anyone's face.
Zack is survived by his parents Michael and Kathleen Nardi, brother Jordan Nardi, sister Gianna Norscia (Nardi), brother-in-law Matthew Norscia, niece Aria Norscia, grandmother Henrietta Nardi, beloved golden retriever Driver, various aunts, uncles and cousins, special friend Christina Fourkas and an abundance of lifelong friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 23, 4-7 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave., (btwn 13-14 Mile) Royal Oak. 248-549-0500.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24, 10AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 630 Harmon St., Birmingham 48009. Reception to follow.
A Celebration of Life in Escanaba will be announced.
