Mark was a true sports lover. He enjoyed it all from kids sports to professional sports. Over the years, he hosted many Packer parties with his wife in his Packer man cave. In his younger years, he spent many hours of fun on Little Bay de Noc pulling water skiers, knee boards, and tubers. All the kids in town were welcome to join in on the fun.
Mark also spent many years on the water in search of the elusive walleye. If he was lucky enough to catch the elusive Walleye, they hosted many fish fries at their home. Mark had a love for golf, where he spent many fun filled days on the course and the 19th hole with his golf buddies. Prior to wintering in Florida, Mark and Penny enjoyed many fun weekend snowmobiling with friends.
Mark is survived by his wife, Penny West; mother Jane West; children Craig (Dawn) West and Ashley (Nikki Limback) Pease; brother Rick (Toni) West; sisters Pam (Paul ) McDonald and Susan (Mike) Noel; granddaughter Ellison West; siblings-in-law Christine Quinn, Vicki Shampo, Larry (Cyna) Trudeau, Mary (Terry Weaver) Maingot, James "Kimba" (Colleen Atkins) Trudeau and Paul (Lynn) Trudeau; as well as several nieces and nephews.
