ESCANABA -- Madison "Maddie" Marie Lafave, age 18 of Escanaba, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 11, 2026 due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Maddie was born on May 4, 2008, in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of Jenna Isaacson Lafave and Terrance Lafave, Jr. She attended and graduated from Link Learning in Escanaba class of 2025.
Maddie was currently employed at Pleasantview Farms where she had many responsibilities.
She will be forever remembered for her illuminating smile, which represented the warm heart underneath. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her couldn't help but love her, and her kindness, warmth, and beautiful spirit will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

Preceded in death by grandpa James Crean.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from Noon until 2 p.m. at Wellspring Community Church, 301 North Lincoln Road, Escanaba, MI, 49829. A memorial service celebrating Maddie's life will follow at 2 p.m. at the Wellspring Community Church with Pastor Paul Culbertson officiating. A meal will follow in the fellowship hall. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Lafave family.
