GLADSTONE -- James L. Vrbensky, age 92, of Gladstone passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Lakeview Assisted Living.
Jim was born on July 20, 1934 in Flint, MI to Frank and Rosie (Trzil) Vrbensky.
He worked at the Social Security Administration in the Saginaw area before relocating to Escanaba branch where he worked as a claim representative. He worked over 40 years for the Federal Government.
Jim also proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed traveling, discussing politics and in his earlier years, working out at the YMCA.
Jim is survived by his brother, Robert (Rose) Vrbensky and close friends, Ralph (Kim) Lafave.
