ESCANABA -- Grace A. Roberts, 95, of Escanaba, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Christian Park Village.
She was born in Escanaba, MI, daughter of Walter and Emily (Fuhriman) Oliver. She graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1949. She married Richard A. Roberts in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1979.
They lived in Milwaukee, WI for many years. She was employed by Milwaukee Public Schools until 1992, and then she returned to Escanaba.
Grace enjoyed gardening, reading, playing cards, bingo, working puzzles and bowling. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Grace was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Grace is survived by three sons, Thomas (Lynn) Roberts, Stephen (Kathleen) Roberts and Mark Roberts, two daughter, Nancy (John) Baddaker and Diane (Emilio) Guerrero; and five grandchildren, Jacob Roberts, Joseph Roberts, Stephanie Otto, Ryan Roberts, and Mary Baddaker.
In addition to her parents and husband; Grace was preceded in death by her son, Michael Roberts; brother, Walter S. Oliver; sisters, Marian M. Oliver and Ruth Helwig; along with sisters in law, Mary Sandstrom and Bernice Lundin.
Burial will take place in General George Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
