RAPID RIVER -- Bonnie Jean (Grasser) Lee, age 82, of Rapid River, passed away early Sunday morning, October 18, 2026 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Bonnie was born on May 13, 1944 in Romeo, Michigan and attended Lake Orion High School, graduating with the class of 1962. She then attended Marjorie Webster Finishing School in Washington, D.C. before moving back to Michigan.
Bonnie married Roy Lee from Escanaba, Michigan on March 9, 1968 and together they lived happily for 58 years. Husband Roy preceded her in death recently.
Bonnie loved antiques and interior decorating. She ran an active business buying and selling her products for many years until she and Roy retired to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Together they built their dream home deep in the depths of the Hiawatha National Forest where they delighted in enjoying the wildlife and serenity of their home.
Bonnie is survived by son Brook, son Christopher and his wife Amanda (Jenkins), granddaughter Madison, grandson Jackson, sister Anne (Grasser) and her husband Nick Leone, sister Kathy (Grasser), brother Mike Grasser and his wife Marie, and niece Lanna Grasser.
