GLADSTONE -- Vern VanDrese, 75, of Gladstone, passed peacefully in his sleep during an afternoon nap on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Vern is survived by his sister, Dolores (Mike) Goymerac; brother, Leland (Betty) VanDrese; and companion, Sherri Schorr.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 16th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. A prayer will conclude the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Elks Lodge #354 in Vern's name.
