HERMANSVILLE -- Patrick S. LaMaide "Pat", 79, of Hermansville passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born in Daggett, MI to the late Edward and Lucille (Plunger) LaMaide on November 21, 1946.
Pat liked to hunt and fish in his younger years, he thoroughly enjoyed going to rummage sales, he liked to collect antiques, and he liked doing puzzles, as well as playing Solitaire. He was a volunteer with the Meyer Township Fire Department. He was employed at the Cedar River Lumber Company in Powers, MI until his retirement. Pat was a very kind man and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed.
Pat is survived by his sisters, Rosalee (Don) Crawford, Cecilia Brown, Anne (John) Torreano, and MaryKay (Randy) Carlson, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Pat is preceded in death by his sister, Luetta Krajewski, his brothers, Lucien, Donald, Karl, Larry and Harvey, and his companion Rose Malone.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM EST at the Skradski Family Funeral Homes, 118 South 12th Street, Escanaba, MI 49829. Deacon Terry Saunders will officiate a memorial service at 3:00 PM EST at the Skradski Family Funeral Homes, 118 South 12th Street, Escanaba, MI 49829. Pat will be laid to rest in Hermansville Cemetery. A gathering at R Place, W3707 US 2 and 41, Spalding, MI 49886 will follow burial services. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the LaMaide family.
