PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -- William Joseph Pinar, 64, passed away on July 22, 2026 at his home in Prescott Valley, AZ. He was born June 20, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI, son of the late Rudy and Dolores (Cook) Pinar. On December 23, 1995 he married Anne (Fushman) Pinar with whom he had two sons he is survived by: Brett and William Pinar. He was married to Anne for 17 years. He is also survived by Carolyn Spano, his partner of more than 13 years, his brother, Richard Pinar, and many other extended family members.
"Bondo" Bill, as his close friends called him, was a bodyman and painter at Pro Auto Body in Escanaba, MI. He became a nurse after moving to AZ in 2003 with his family. He was a proud "Yooper" having lived the majority of his prime years in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He grew up in Wells, MI and also lived in Gladstone, MI.
Bill enjoyed classic car shows, hunting wild game and fishing, and rooting for his hometown Michigan sports teams. He coached his sons in youth sports and also enjoyed playing sports in his childhood and early adulthood years. He served his country in the military reserves as well.
Bill fought pancreatic cancer for over 4 years. His brave fighting spirit and real authentic friendship will be dearly missed.
