Sharon Ann (Micheau) Frazer

WETMORE -- Sharon Ann (Micheau) Frazer, 83, of Wetmore, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2026. She was born July 21, 1943 in Kipling, Michigan to Arnold and Inez Micheau.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was united in marriage to Peter Frazer on September 30, 1961 and together they shared 65 years of love and family life.

Sharon is survived by her husband Peter; her five children Todd (Marie) Frazer of Gladstone, Tina Frazer of Rapid River, Tammy (Craig Mendenhall) Frazer of Union City, OH, Tracy (James) Gilbert of Nahma, and Tricia (Mike Prescott) Frazer of Union City, IN. She was a proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her siblings Christine, Brenda, and Annette.

Sharon spent much of her working life in retail and food service, but her greatest joy was caring for others and being there for her family. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve others. She was often the first one up in the morning and the last one to bed at night, always making sure everyone was taken care of.

Sharon enjoyed gardening, picking blueberries, cooking for her family, playing guitar, and singing karaoke. She loved to dance and was not afraid to get the whole room on their feet. She found happiness in the simple things, especially time spent with the people she loved. Her home was a place where family could gather, share a meal, and feel cared for.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Inez Micheau; her in-laws Clifford (Jeanette) and Kathleen Frazer; and her siblings Marion, Dick, Gary, Darlene, Jeff, and Patricia. Sharon leaves behind a beautiful legacy of life through her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched. Her kindness, caring spirit, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10 AM to 12 noon at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services honoring Sharon will begin at 12 noon with Rev. Fr. Joseph Boakye Yiadom officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church hall. Sharon will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Escanaba.
