ESCANABA -- Lorrie A. Lazear, age 63, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 31, 2026 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Lorrie was born on October 24, 1962 in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Carol (Troxel) Bagley. Lorrie moved around throughout her childhood with her family as her father served in the military until she landed in Escanaba Michigan. Lorrie worked as the bingo coordinator amongst various other roles at the Escanaba Eagles Aerie 1088 for 26 years. She loved the Green Bay Packers, cooking shows, playing bingo, and creating diamond art. Lorrie also worked as a cook at Drifter's restaurant and in the deli at Elmer's County Market, where she made many lifelong friends. She will be deeply missed by many.
Lorrie is survived by her sisters Rita Johnson, Brenda Brake, Cindy (Jim) Phipps, and Judy (Gary) Landry; niece Sandra (Wes) Forrest; great nephews Anthony Forrest, Drake Forrest, and Parker Forrest; and great-great nephew Beckham Forrest.
Lorrie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Carol Bagley, and her brother Randy Bagley.
Family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services honoring Lorrie will begin at 3 p.m. A luncheon will follow at the Escanaba Eagle's Club from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Lazear family.
