RAPID RIVER -- Fred E. Smith, 85, of Rapid River, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at OSF St. Francis Hospital.
Fred is survived by his loving companion of 25 years, Glenda Giffey of Rapid River; and children, Jason (Brooke Poquette) Smit, Amber (Joshua) Herman, and Steven (Katlyn) Smith.
The Crawford Funeral Home is assisting the family.
