GLADSTONE -- Nancy Ann Lindstrom, 67 years old, passed peacefully on July 16, 2026, surrounded by family at Roubal Care & Rehab Center after a very, long, hard battle with COPD. Nancy was born on September 10th 1958. She grew up in Lincoln Park, Michigan, but made her way to the Upper Peninsula after marrying the love of her life, Rodney Lindstrom. While in the U.P. she got experience living life without electricity 24 hours per day, as well as how to can food, and drive a snowmobile. Nancy worked in the food service and retail industry for many years, starting at Clock's Restaurant in Lincoln Park, Michigan and working the remainder of her food service career at Delona Restaurant in Gladstone, Michigan. Nancy than finished out her working career as the Deli Manager at Walmart in Escanaba, Michigan.
Nancy loved to cook, bake, and especially loved being outside working in her garden or in the yard. She also loved trips to the casino and shopping at discount and antique stores.
Nancy is survived by her children Heidi (Alan) Smith, Tina Green, Mark (Cristina) Lindstrom, and Shannon (Jordan) Lindstrom; 6 grandchildren Jordan, Ryan, Jarod, Riley, Casey, Logan, Kaden, and Tessa, and several great grandchildren. Nancy is also survived by her siblings Mary "Babes" Luther, Mike (Mary) Dietrich, and Leonard (Ruth) Dietrich and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband Rodney Lindstrom; her parents Leonard Sr. Dietrich and Patricia (Hamel) Dietrich; her siblings Anna Mae, Marvin, Patrick, Harvey, twins John and Joseph, Robert, and Thomas; and her very dear friend, Phyllis Russ.
While her family is saddened by her passing, there is relief in knowing she is no longer suffering or in pain and will rejoin so many loved ones in Heaven.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Nancy Lindstrom will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brenda Greenwald officiating.
