Arthur J. Harris

HERMANSVILLE — Arthur J. “Art” Harris, 64, Hermansville, passed away on Saturday July 11, 2026 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton, WI following a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 15, 1961 in Escanaba, son of the late Stanley and Beverly (Peters) Harris. Art met “the love of his life”, the former Carol Baribeau, and they were married on June 15, 1985 at St. Joseph Church in Escanaba and celebrated 41 years of marriage this year.

Art graduated from North Central High School in 1979 and started his career as a Journeyman welder. He always had a very strong work ethic! Throughout the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending his time at camp taking care of his Christmas trees. He will likely be remembered most for his love of providing the community with his Christmas trees and wreaths.

He is survived by his loving wife: Carol, his son: Craig (Angela) Harris, two granddaughters: Brielle and Callie Harris, five siblings: Leanne Hansen, Susan (William) Harris-Peters, Judy Everson, Ken (Yukiko) Harris and Michelle (Don) Racicot, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Art was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: S. Paul Harris

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday August 6, 2026 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. (CST) on Thursday at St. John Neumann Church in Hermansville with Fr. Benny Mathew officiating. Burial will follow Mass in the Meyer Township Cemetery. A luncheon will be held in the church parish hall.
