Marcella Tredeau
GLADSTONE — Marcella Mae Tredeau, age 84, of Gladstone passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Roubal Care and Rehab Center in Stephenson, Michigan.
Marcella was born on June 18, 1941 in Escanaba, Michigan the youngest born to Charles and Hilma (Helm) Erickson.
Marcella grew up in Stonington and later attended and graduated from Rapid River High School in 1959.
Marcella is survived by two sons, James (Lisa) Tredeau and Jerry (Chrissy) Ruether and two daughters, Sheri (Tom) McLenithan and Jami (Deanna Cavadeas) Pond.
Eight grandchildren: Zachery (Nicolette) Pond, Bryce Pond, Kaity (Joey) Minsky, Meghan (Chris) Houlemard, Ian (Abbey) McLenithan, Ryan McLenithan, Stella Ruether and Luke Ruether.
Ten great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Kylie, Karsyn and Sawyer Pond. Killian, Finnley and Teegan Minsky. Khira, Leahna and Jax Houlemard.
Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Marcella is preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings: Hazel, Kenneth, Charles Erickson, Margaret Schoensee, Marian DeCoste, Gladys Novak, Blanche Michel, brother-in-law Rudy Novak, sister-in-law Betty Erickson and son-in-law Kenneth Pond.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Rapid River Cemetery. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Tredeau family.
