Jeremy Therrien

ESCANABA — Jeremy Robert Therrien of Escanaba, MI, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2026, at his home in Escanaba. Jeremy was born on August 13, 1982, in Escanaba, to Dennis and Christine (DuPont) Therrien. Jeremy was one of four boys in the family. He graduated from Escanaba Senior High School.

Jeremy was a devoted son, and he cared for his mother Christine for several years at the end of her life, after his father passed away. He had a talent for cooking, and he loved to cook personally, as well as professionally. Jeremy cooked for a variety of restaurants during his adult life.

He was above all else a people-person. Jeremy was often seen as intimidating in stature and even had the beloved ironic nickname of “Junior.” Despite this, he was one of the most approachable and kind individuals to people who knew him, and he had a caring heart. Jeremy loved the Green Bay Packers and was an avid fan. Jeremy also enjoyed billiards and was always ready to play a game of 8-ball with family and friends.

Jeremy is survived by his brothers Jason (Lynne) and Jonathan. Jeremy is also survived by his nephews Tyler, Val, and Grayson and his niece, Trisha.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his parents, and older brother Thomas.

A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Escanaba, MI. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Doletsky officiating. A luncheon will be served, immediately following the service, in the Ludington Room of Anderson Funeral Home.
