Jennifer Peters

Jen was born April 12, 1947 in Cadillac, Michigan, the daughter of Ellis and Lula (Edberg) Brigham. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Escanaba. Jen played the piano and played for the LDS Church and when she was younger, she played the organ for the Christian Science church. She also loved to sing. She enjoyed genealogy and was a member of the Dickinson County Genealogical Society. She also enjoyed spending time with family, doing crafts, knitting things for her family, going to church and was an animal lover.

Jen is survived by her children, Scott (Shena) Peters, Wendy Peters, Gail (Chad) Hutchings and Amy (Jason) Karp; grandchildren, Alexis, August, Zachary, Valorie, Ethan, Austin, Analise, Sabrina and Chloe; siblings Vaughan Brigham and Bonnie Robertson and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Robert Brigham, Duane Christiansen and Patricia Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Branch President Tom DePaul officiating. Committal Services will be held at 12:30 PM at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells. A luncheon will follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Escanaba.
