Jean M. Johnson
GLADSTONE – Jean M. Johnson, age 81, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.
Jean was born on September 9, 1944, in Escanaba, to Ralph and Irene (Lucier) Eagle. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, puzzling, and traveling, and cherished time spent with her family. Jean was a devoted member of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone.
Jean is survived by her children, Tami (Bruce-Louie) LaFleur of Gladstone, MI., Corinna Burkman of Marquette, MI., Lona Pfiester of Appleton, WI., Tina Kleiber of Green Bay, WI., Todd (Marie-Lise) Johnson of France, and Rebecca Donald of Green Bay, WI.; her sisters, Patricia Valiquette, Barbara Harris, Susan Guindon, and Alice Eagle; her brother-in-law, Calvin Moreau, 20 grandchildren,Thomas, Danny (deceased), Adam, Paul, Matthew, Tyler, Erik, Danielle, Alaynna, Paige, Dustin, Zachary, Gabriel, Connor, Carly, Michael, Devon, Samual, Dalila, and Daniel; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Daniel Pfiester; her brothers, Richard and David Eagle; her sister, Judy Moreau; her son-in-laws, Richard Burkman and Dan Kleiber; and her brother-in-laws, Dwain Valiquette and Jerry Guindon.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:30 P.M. at the All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with a luncheon to follow in the Parish Hall.
