Patricia Ann Demers
MANISTIQUE – Patricia “Pat” Ann Demers, 89, of Manistique, MI, passed away March 25, 2026, at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital.
Pat was born February 3, 1937 in Manistique to Peter and Ann (Lasich) Burnis. She lived her life in Manistique, raising her 5 children. She is remembered as being funny, kind and inviting. She shared her caring and kindness toward others as she spent 10 years as a CNA at Schoolcraft Medical Care facility.
Coffee was always on in her home; and she welcomed family and friends to drop by
anytime. Pat always looked forward to the Friday Night Fish Fry at the Elks Club with her girl friends.
She loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. Her children, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren were her whole world. She will be missed dearly.
Pat is survived by her 5 children: Sheree Lambert of Manistique, Dennis (Cheryl) Demers of Manistique, Lana Lang of Manistique, Rhonda (Bob) Parrish of Cooks, and Deron Demers of Green Bay, WI; grandchildren Craig (Leona) Lambert, Ryan Lambert, Jake (Amanda) Lang, Zach Lang, Stephan Demers, Andrew, Mathew and Nicole Parrish; and great-grandchildren Josh Betterly, Jessica and Colton Shampine, Merik Lambert and Savaya Parrish. With several great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Robert, Roland, and Richard Burnis; and former husband Russell “Tad” Demers.
Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no services. A luncheon and celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Manistique VFW on Monday April 6, from noon- 3 p.m. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes are assisting the Demers family.
