ESCANABA – Mary Ann Henderson, 99 of Escanaba passed away on Saturday March 7, 2026 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. Mary Ann Boucher was born on July 27, 1926 in Escanaba to August and Marie (Berens) Boucher. Mary Ann married Roy A. Henderson in Escanaba. She worked at the National Food Store and Kmart for many years. Mary Ann enjoyed going to Hardees to have coffee with her friends, trips to the casino and was the “Bingo Queen.” She and Roy spent many winters in Brookville, Florida and enjoyed camping at Gooseneck Lake. Mary Ann loved her family dearly, cooking Sunday dinners and spending time together, is something Mary Ann looked forward to every week. Mary Ann was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include her 3 sons: Rick (Sherry) Henderson, Ronald “RJ” (Luann) Henderson and Bob (Anne Kelly) Henderson; daughter-in-law: Sandy Henderson; grandchildren: Rick (Gretchen) Henderson Jr., Todd (Tonia) Henderson, Lori Wyman, Krissy Gravelle, Tyler Henderson, Taryn Overholt, Joey Henderson, Robert Henderson, Larry and Ryan; great grandchildren: Samantha, Cooper, Tess, Hailey, Saylor, Drake, Maggie, Jaden, Rogan, Kali, Miley, Harper, Mayven, Mason and Lucas. She is further survived by her siblings: Joan (Fran) Derouin, Tom (Laura) Boucher, Mike (Betty) Boucher and Rodrick (Cindy) Boucher; sister-in-law: Estelle Henderson; many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents: August and Marie; husband: Roy A. Henderson Sr.; son: Roy A. Henderson Jr.; brothers: Dick Boucher and Don Boucher; and nephew: Mike Boucher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for the repose of the soul of Mary Ann Henderson on Friday March 13, 2026 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Escanaba at 12:00 noon with Father Joseph Boakye Yiadom presiding. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Rest Mausoleum. The Allo Coolman Funeral Home is assisting the Henderson family with arrangements.
