Mary Alyce Hadder Sherman
GARDEN – Mary Alyce Hadder Sherman was born May 29, 1931 in Six Lakes, Michigan, the 4th of six children of William and Florence Hadder, and passed away on January 21, 2026 at her home in Garden, Michigan.
Mary had the gift of spontaneity and was fully present in her every encounter. She communicated sheer delight in sharing the experiences of friends and family alike and all who knew her were enriched by the experience.
Mary is survived by her husband of 74 years, James, her four daughters, Helen (Dan Young) of Escanaba, Katy (Gary Sporer) of Garden, Jane (Mike Blumer) of Morrison, CO, and Margaret (Scott Brown) of Aurora, CO, her seven grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Blake Sporer, Meghan Maki, Kyle Brown, Jessica White, Ryan Blumer, and Greg Blumer, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Mary from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, April 4th, at The Grove in Garden, Michigan.
