Errol Sagataw

He was born on September 10, 1955 in Neenah, WI, son to Edgar Roy and Charlotte Mae (Williams) Sagataw. Marty was raised in Wisconsin and attended school at Winneconne Central.

Marty proudly served in the United States Marines until his honorable discharge.

On December 19, 1997, Marty married Cheryl R. Dunlop in Minneapolis. Together, they were blessed with three daughters.

Marty worked for many years at the Island Resort and Casino in the maintenance department.

He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and loved watching all sports. Marty enjoyed playing Keno, visiting with family and friends, and adored his dog, Lefty.

Among survivors include his daughters, Cheri Mae Sagataw and Bobbi Jo Sagataw both of International Falls, MN and Jennifer(Lexie)Keshick of Wilson; grandchildren, Connor Dobbs, Dominick Nash, Shayla Clement, Danika Luppens, Carissa, Lexie Jr, Bethany, Thomas, Skylynn, Jaylyn; 10 loving great grandchildren, and siblings, Charlene Sagataw, Cheryl Light, Carolyn (Junior) Auginaush, Eddy (Deborah) Sagataw, Jeff Sagataw, Betsy Sagataw, Loretta (Carlos) Sagataw, and Paula Frye; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Cheryl; he was preceded in death by three sisters, Celeste Thunder, Luann Sagataw, and Toni Doust; granddaughter, Everleigh Kay Sagataw; and great grandson, Colton Richard King.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 23rd from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center. Military honors will conclude the visiting hours at 4 p.m. conducted by the Bark River Legion. The family respectfully suggests wearing purple when attending services.

Burial will take place in the Bark River Twp. Cemetery.
