Timothy J. Rogers

He was born in Escanaba on January 21, 1954, son to John Patrick and Elizabeth Marie (King) Rogers. He attended Escanaba High School and graduated in 1972.

Timothy worked as an oiler at Mead Paper Corporation for 40 years until his retirement.

He enjoyed carpentry and often helped his family and friends with various projects. Tim had a great love for his mission in Honduras (Servants of God), also a great love for children. As time went on, his love for God increased.

Among survivors include his daughters, Ashley Rogers of Escanaba and Rachel Rae of Providence, RI; his siblings who Tim lovingly nicknamed each one, Patrick T. Rogers of Escanaba, Carol (Jeff) Erickson of Indianapolis, IN, Micheal J. Rogers, Daniel F. Rogers, Donald P. Rogers, and Susan M. Roberts, all of Escanaba; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by brothers, William and Jim Rogers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6th, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St, Escanaba. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon at St. Anthony Church with Rev. Rick Courier officiating. At the conclusion of the mass, a meal will be served in the church hall.

Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Tim’s name be directed to Honduras Servants of Christ, Pregnancy Services of Delta County, St. Anthony Parish, or Holy Name School.
