Marlene Ann Arduin
HERMANSVILLE – Marlene Ann Arduin, 74, Hermansville, passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026 at the Freeman Center in Kingsford, after battling a courageous fight against cancer. She was born on March 15, 1951 in Escanaba, daughter of the late Edward and Patricia (Perket) Bray. On February 12, 1972 she married the late Richard “Rick” Arduin at St. Francis Xavier Church in Spalding.
Rick and Marlene created a wonderful family together. They were a true love story that has become eternally together. Marlene enjoyed helping others and spent many years working in home health care and then became the director of the home health care program and directing the senior center in Hermansville until she retired. She loved her community and worked very hard to help with anything they needed. During the holidays she would be out delivering food, baked goods, presents and anything else she knew families would need to help them out. Marlene loved her flower gardens and bird watching with Rick. She also loved swimming in her pool (the deep blue sea) with her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and most of all, the apple of her eye, her grandson, Oliver. They loved having their Grandma Days together, where the two of them would come up with all kinds of adventures together. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Marlene baked cupcakes for every holiday imaginable for Oliver to bring to school because of both their love for holidays. She enjoyed playing cards and having some good laughs. Marlene will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her three children: Nick (Angie) Arduin, Stephanie Arduin and Tyler Bray, a grandson: Oliver, a sister: Kayelynn Bray and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister: Cynthia Ohlson.
