Joyce Ann Culliton

ST AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Joyce Ann (Plouff) Culliton, 86, entered eternal peace with her Lord on January 29, 2026 after a brief illness. She was born November 17,1939 to Eugene and Leigha (King) Plouff. Joyce attended the Naden School in Flat Rock then graduated in 1958 from Holy Name Catholic High School. November 12, 1960 she married John LeRoy Culliton. Together they raised a son John(Cathy) Culliton and daughter Jody (Deacon David) Allen. Joyce was employed at the Terrace on the Bay restaurant for 20 years, was the original owner in 1983 of the 4Js Restaurant and along with her beloved friend Joy, they started the area first Dollar store. Playing Flat Rock rummy, bingo, traveling, caring for her kittys, were her favorite pass times. She is survived by 4 grandchildren,  Josh (Katie) Culliton, Tiffany (Brad) Germain, Brandon (Jessica) Allen and Jake (Dr. Anna) Culliton. She cherished being Gigi to 13 great grandchildren, Elijah, Faith, Zion, Rapheal, Levi, Ivan John, Trinity, John Paul, JoJo, Rosa, Kolbe, Margie and Waylon. She is also survived by brother Jim (Shurlee) Plouff and sister-in-law Jill Plouff. Proceded in death are parents, husband, John, brothers, Donald, Lloyd, Clinton, Terry Plouff, step mother, Viola Plouff and dear friends, MaryJane Peltier and Joy Berbohm. Catholic funeral mass will be held February 7, 2026 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in St Augustine with her son-in-law, Deacon David Allen serving.
