RAPID RIVER – Herbert John Stumpf III, 58, of Rapid River, MI, passed away at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI on Monday, February 16, following a brief illness, surrounded by family.
He was a beloved husband, father, uncle and friend. Known for his corny sense of humor and unending generosity, Herb will be missed by so many.
He is survived by his wife Dusty-Rose Stumpf; sons Nicholas Vaughn and Gavin Stumpf; grandchildren, Devon and Lucas Vaughn; siblings, James Menary, Sean Stumpf, Jodi Malchow; many nieces, nephews & cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Emily McGeary and father Herbert J. Stumpf II.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. An extended, more detailed obituary will be posted on Facebook, including the date and details for the celebration of life.
