Brenda Lee Scott

She was born on January 4, 1973 in Escanaba, daughter to Kevin J. Berg and Lauri B. (Fraddo) Berg. Brenda graduated from Escanaba High School in 1991. Following high school, she attended Baker College and Bay de Noc Community College.

On June 28, 2003, Brenda married Steve Scott at St. Anne’s Church in Escanaba. They were blessed with a family of five children.

Brenda worked for many years at Besse Forest Products before transitioning to bartending at the Escanaba Country Club and more recently she worked at Walmart.

She loved playing card games, thrifting, going to yard sales, and collecting gnomes. Decorating her home for the holidays was always a favorite pastime along with cooking and baking for the family.

Among survivors include her husband, Steve of Escanaba; children, Cierra, Kamrie, Brynlee, Lucan, and Sterling Scott; parents, Kevin (Victoria) Berg and Lauri Berg; siblings, Kelly Berg, Jamie (Chad) Leclaire, and Justin (Mikki) Berg; mother-in-law, Tookie Scott; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins; along with special friend, Kim Biehl.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Steve and Estelle Fraddo; paternal grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Berg; aunts, Anita, Marsha, and Dianne Fraddo, and Janice Livermore; and father-in-law, Don Scott.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 2nd from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Fran DeGroot officiating.
