Randy Scott Clairmont

MARINETTE, Wis. — Randy Scott Clairmont, 65, of Marinette, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2026, his 65th birthday, with his wife by his side.

Randy was born on January 21, 1961, the youngest child of John Clairmont Sr. and Olive Ann (Malmstrom) Clairmont.

Randy was a journeyman shipbuilder at Marinette Marine, a path he started in 1979. On November 23, 1984, Randy married Paula Forsberg in Escanaba, Michigan. Together, they moved to the Marinette-Menominee area in 1985.

Randy graduated from Escanaba High School and attended Bay de Noc Community College.

Randy is survived by his wife, Paula Clairmont and their two fur babies, Tango & Rocko; his siblings John Clairmont Jr. (Debbie) of Escanaba, Larry Clairmont (Mike) of Canton, Kim Lund (Matt) of Ford River, Todd Clairmont (Kathy) of Cedar River, Brian Clairmont of Marinette, and Joan Clairmont, stepmother, of Bark River; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Olive Ann Clairmont.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ford River Pub during early summer.
