Mary O’Driscoll
ESCANABA – Mary O’Driscoll, age 78, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Christian Park Village in Escanaba.
Mary was born on May 1, 1947, in Calumet, Michigan, the daughter of Francis and Julia (Osmak) Hall. She was raised in Calumet and graduated from Calumet High School in 1965. Family was the foundation of Mary’s life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved.
Mary worked for many years at Jim’s South Side and later at the St. Vincent de Paul Store, both in Escanaba, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. Above all else, Mary cherished her family and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and cats–and found comfort in reading mystery novels and watching her favorite Hallmark movies.
Mary is survived by her children: Lisa Pini (William) Chaillier of Escanaba, Scott Pini (Amy Dier) of Escanaba, Jamie (Kevin) Bugay of Deforest, WI, and Chelsea O’Driscoll (Steven Lausch) of Monroe, OH; her grandchildren Heather (Daniel) Pecora, Derek (Hailey) Chaillier, and Elizabeth Mary Bugay; her great-grandchildren Philip Pecora, Warren Pecora and Scottie Jo Chaillier; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John O’Driscoll in 2008.
Burial will take place in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba. The family would like to thank U.P.H.S. Hospice and the staff at Christian Park Village for their exceptional care. The Anderson Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.andersonfuneralhomes.net
