Alex Roy Sagataw
WILSON — Alex Roy Sagataw, 45, of Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
He was born on December 6, 1979 in Escanaba, son to Levi Edward Sagataw and Debra Lou Little. Alex graduated from Nah Tah Wahsh School in Hannahville.
On October 8, 2013, Alex married the love of his life, Heather Reyes Crossman in Wilson. She preceded him in death on September 28, 2018.
He currently was employed as a slot tech for the Island Resort and Casino.
Alex enjoyed gaming on the internet and loved being a DJ.
Among survivors include his parents, Levi (Karen) Sagataw and Debra Little; step children, Adolpho Reyes Crossman and Dalia Reyes Crossman; siblings, Levi (Tamara) Sagataw III, Richard Sagataw, Kenny Sagataw, Dezeree Jesse (William) Sagataw, and Thomas Jesse Sagataw; and nieces and nephews, Hattie Sagataw, Annaleesia Sagataw, Debrianna Sagataw, Lilly Sagataw, and William Sagataw.
He was preceded his death by his wife, Heather; grandmother, Hattie Little; grandparents, Levi and Helen Sagataw; and seven uncles and six aunts.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.
