Robert M. Myers

Bob was born August 22, 1958 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Murrell and Charlee (DuRoy) Myers. He was a graduate of the Gladstone High School. He served in the Army National Guard for 26 and a half years. He worked at Harnischfeger and EMP Corp for many years and wa also a carpenter. He as united in marriage to Ruth Gearu on September 4, 2009 in Gladstone. He loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas, spending time with family and neighbors, driving the tractor with the grandkids, putzing around and keeping busy, camping with Ruth and hanging out with his dogs.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ruth of Gladstone; step-son Bjorn (Kim) Nelson of North Carolina, daughter Patti (James) Bojoquez of Gladstone, son David (Jamie) Myers of Gwinn, step-daughter Shannon Hope of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister Missy (Mike) Bazinet of Kingsford; brother Paul (Penny) Myers of Escanaba; nieces and nephews and his dogs, Little Bit and George.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charlie Myers.

Bob will be cremated with no services planned.
