GLADSTONE — James “Jim” Sheldon Noggle, 81, of Gladstone, Michigan, passed away on November 20, 2025.
He was born on February 2, 1944, in Gladstone to Ruby and Sheldon Noggle.
Jim graduated from Gladstone High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. On August 16, 1969, he married the love of his life, Linda Robitaille. He later built a long and devoted career at Mead Paper Company, where he worked until his retirement.
Jim is survived by his two sons, Jeremy and his partner Becky King, Jeffery and his wife Michelle; his grandchildren Rosie, Aodhan, Jasmen, Kyllian, Josslyn, and Hunter; many nieces and nephews; and his lifelong best friend, Dale Deloria.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Linda, infant children Tina and Scott; his parents, his sisters, Clare Lake and Edie Warner; and other cherished family members who welcomed him home.
Family was the center of Jim’s world. He loved nothing more than spending time with those he cared about. A kind and easy-going man, Jim enjoyed playing cribbage and any card game he could talk someone into joining. His warmth, humor, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Jim will be deeply missed by all whose lives he brightened.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military Honors will be presented by the Gladstone American Legion Post 71 at 3:45 PM. A Time of Sharing and Closing Prayer will follow. He will be laid to rest in the Escanaba Township Cemetery in Flat Rock.
