Jacqueline Leigh Jones

Jacqueline Leigh Jones, 52, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born on April 16, 1973 in Menominee, MI, daughter to James F. Londo and Patricia R. (Grundstrom) Seymour. Jacquie was raised in Daggett and attended school there as well. She began the 4th grade in Escanaba and graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1991. Jacquie earned her degree in accounting at Lake Superior State University and quickly realized that accounting may not be her direction for a career. She returned to college at Northern Michigan University and became a registered nurse. Jacquie absolutely loved being a nurse. Throughout her career, she worked at several facilities before her current employment at Christian Park Health Care Center. Jacquie was also a talented floral designer.

On June 18, 1998, Jacquie married Keith Jones at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Rapid River. They were blessed with 27 years of marriage and three children, Bernice, Hannah, and Jon. Jacquie was also blessed with her first grandson Henry James, and was able to celebrate his first birthday with family.

Jacquie had a big personality that filled every room she entered and was loved by her family and many friends. She spoke her thoughts so you never had to guess what she was thinking. Jacquie loved spending time with her family and friends preferably near a bonfire. She also treasured the memories of fishing with her dad at Kimars Resort in Autrain. She enjoyed spontaneous times of jumping in the car and going for rides with Keith. Jacquie was always willing to help her sister with any wedding that came their way.

Among survivors include her husband, Keith Jones of Escanaba; children, Bernice (Alec) Gove, Hannah Jones, and Jon Jones all of Escanaba; mother, Patricia Seymour of Escanaba; sister, Deborah (Pat) St. John of Escanaba; brother in law, Dale (Mary) Jones; sister in law, Colleen (John) Hendrickson; sister in law, Connie (Rodney) Trepanier; step mom, Ann Londo and mother in law, Joyce Jones; grandson, Henry James Gove; and many nieces and nephews.
