Jacob Adam Allsworth

Jacob was born October 23, 1979 in Escanaba, and is the son of Dan Allsworth and Star Shampo. Jake helped his parents build the family home in Brampton where he spent much of his time. He loved the outdoors and seeing the wildlife in and around the pond.

Jake was an adventure seeker and loved living life on the edge. He participated in karate and wrestling in his youth, enjoyed riding dirt bikes, listening to music, and playing the drums. Jake’s daughter, Paige, was the light of his life and he loved spending as much time as possible with her. Jake also enjoyed his time spent with his roommate and best friend, Sean, who was like a brother to him.

Jacob is survived by his daughter, Paige (Breyden) Papineau of Escanaba; parents, Dan Allsworth of Escanaba and Star (Steve) Graham of Gladstone; sister, Danelle Allsworth of Waterford, MI; nieces Ariel and Aliya Geurts; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friend, Sean Anderson of Gladstone.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lively Papineau, maternal grandparents, Paul and Shirley Shampo and paternal grandparents, Joe and Jeanne Allsworth.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A Time of Sharing and Closing Prayer will follow at 3:00 PM.
