RAPID RIVER — Bryon W. Johnson, age 64, of Rapid River passed away at home on Thursday, November 20, 2025 with his family by his side.
Bryon was born April 6, 1961 in Escanaba, the son of Ronald and Eloise Johnson. He was a laborer with Union Local 1329 in Iron Mountain for over 40 years retiring in 2024. Bryon liked to keep busy, spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his dog.
Bryon is survived by his mother, Eloise (Skip) Reynolds; sons, Dan (Catherine) Johnson and Kevin (Brittany) Johnson; grandchildren, Khloe Johnson, Aysia Puckett, Sophia Johnson, Kinsley Johnson and Levi Johnson; brother, Jerry Reynolds; sisters, Beverly (Todd) Thomma, Brenda (Terry) Kay, Carrie (Tom) Dubord, Beth Erickson and Lori (Paul) Tourish and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Johnson, maternal grandparents, Marion and Edwin Johnson Erickson and paternal grandparents, Bertha and Walter Johnson.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 11:00 AM in the Bay de Noc Cemetery in Stonington.
