William “Sid” Young

Sid was born February 23, 1966 in Gladstone, the son of Willard and Mary (Burton) Young. He was raised in Gladstone and graduated from the Gladstone High School in 1984. He worked at the Holiday Gas Station for 30 years, was a volunteer with the Gladstone Fire Department and kept stats for the Gladstone High School Football games. He enjoyed hunting, going to camp, riding his Harley, going to Sturgis and snowmobiling.

Sid is survived by his brother, Mike (Connie) Young of Gladstone and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lourn Young and his companion, June Dent.

According to his wishes Sid will be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will take place at a later date.

The family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
