Penny Bester

Penny was born August 16, 1954, the daughter of James and Mary (Labresh) Stammer in Escanaba, MI. She graduated from Gladstone High School and then attended Bay de Noc Community College, where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse, which was her occupation until she retired.

Penny married Larry Bester on May 24, 1986, and they celebrated 39 years together, living most of that time in Lansing, Michigan.

Penny enjoyed camping and the outdoors, and being with family and friends as well as lounging and reading a good book on her patio.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and her brother Patrick Stammer.

She is survived by her Husband Larry, Brothers Greg Stammer and Mike Stammer, Sister-in-law Alice Stammer, and Nephews, Mark (Amanda) Stammer and Jim (Holly) Stammer.
