John Brian Christianson

John Brian Christianson

John Brian Christianson, “Brian”, was born on Nov. 10, 1971, to Mariaalaina Wellman and John Robert Christianson, the oldest of five siblings. Born and raised in Delta County, he passed away suddenly early morning on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025 in Marinette, Wis. at 53 years young.

Brian was proud member of the Boilers Union until he decided to open his own business, John of all trades. Brian was a hardworking individual who worked his life not only as an employee but as a father, papa and partner. He was a lover of adventures and taking the road less traveled, “Never take the same road home” was a famous quote by him. He found peace in enjoying time at camp around a fire drinking an ice-cold Bud Light, and spending time with family. He also enjoyed time out at camp waiting for the next deer to make their way into his sites. In his younger days he spent time under the hood of a hot rod fixing or building engines, or getting the mud truck ready for the next mud bog. He was a collector and admirer of anything Chevrolet, and was always trading something. Brian was stubborn, hard headed, not afraid to speak his mind, but most importantly he was kind, caring and loving. He was passionate in his doings and made sure that everyone was taken care of around him, and he found his savior in Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:8 “Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord… so we are content to be absent from the body and at home with the Lord.

He is survived by fiancé Michelle Bacher, children Zack Christianson, Riley Christianson, Amanda (Jason) Kollmorgan, Brian Jerrold, and Micheal Jacobsen along with grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles.

Preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Wellman, Aunt Willmenia Wellman and Aunt Ann R. LaRose. “To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die” Thomas Campbell.

In keeping with Brian’s wishes, no services will be held. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Christianson family with arrangements.
