GLADSTONE — Sharon Ann Norman (Williams), age 64, of Gladstone passed away at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Sharon was born August 4, 1961 in Escanaba, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Lewis) Williams. She was a beloved cook at 4J’s and the DewDrop Family Restaurants for many years. Sharon is remembered for her Heart of Gold and willingness to help others and take in any stray animal or person. Although she didn’t have much, she was always giving and helping others. If you walked through her doors you were like family to her and loved. She was an avid reader, who loved to learn and had a vast knowledge of different cultures around the world. She loved animals and was a nature enthusiast. She also had a natural green thumb and enjoyed knitting. Sharon was a long time, devoted Detroit Lions fan through their ups and downs. As a child, she enjoyed skating, music, and singing in the church choir. She also played the saxophone in high school. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joys. Spending time with them meant everything to her.
Sharon is survived by her children, Jason (Rebecca) Williams of Oshkosh, WI, Jennifer (Larry) Johnson of Spalding, and Jamie (Jesse) Motto of Wilson; step-children, Katie Norman and Jerry (Mindi) Norman; grandchildren, Jaelee, Jaeden, Jason, Caylin, Alyrae, Brylee, Parker, Harmony, Maxton, Christian and Cameryn; step-grandchildren, Trinity, Sarah, Emma and Abigail; her life long soul sister, Shelia (Chris) Thomas and her best buddies, Teddy and Rusty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Norman, son, Joel David Williams and longtime love, Charles “Chuck” Culliton.
Family and friends are welcomed to join her children in celebrating Sharon’s life on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM eastern time at the DewDrop Family Restaurant in Gladstone.
