CARNEY — Patricia “Pat” Jenkins, 88 of Carney, passed away on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, WI.
Patricia Tousignant was born on April 23, 1937 in Menominee, to Oliver and Christine (Van Den Wyngard) Tousignant. Patricia lived in LaBranche, where her family owned the LaBranche Tavern. She attended Powers-Spalding Public Schools. On November 13, 1954, Pat married Daniel J. Jenkins in Foster City, MI. Pat worked at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers, for over 30 years. She loved flowers, feeding the birds, especially hummingbirds, tending to her yard and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She played pool and bowled in area leagues. She even won a few trophies. Pat enjoyed hunting and was known to have shot a buck or 2 over the years. She was a longtime member of St. Bruno Catholic Church and the St. Ann Society. Pat was also a member of The American Legion Auxiliary, Post 480, in Carney.
Survivors include her son: Daniel (Charlotte) Jenkins of Fennville, MI; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Cecelia Jenkins of Carney and Sharon Tousignant of Carney; brother-in-law: John Dedich of Green Bay WI; nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Oliver & Christine; husband: Daniel; 2 infant daughters; 1 infant son; sister: Eleanor Trottier; and 2 brothers: Clifford Tousignant & Richard Tousignant.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Pat on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau with Father Benny Mathew officiating. Immediately after mass, burial will be in Nadeau Township Cemetery with a meal to follow in the church fellowship hall. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the Jenkins family with arrangements.
