ESCANABA — With immense sadness, we say goodbye to Patti Ann Prim, who passed away on August 7th, 2025, at the age of 68. She entered eternal peace, surrounded by loved ones at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
She was born on February 26, 1957 in Escanaba. The daughter of Shirley (LaMarche) Prim and August “Mike” Prim. In her younger years, she enjoyed helping her family at their store, Prim’s Pantry, in Soo Hill. She attended Escanaba High School, graduating in 1975.
In 2006, Patti met Jim Olsen. They married in 2017. From a former marriage, to J.D. Shiner, Patti became a devoted mother to their daughter, Jill. She later became a caring Granny to Hadley and Evan. Patti loved her dog Honey Bear, was a wonderful cook, and passionately cheered for the Packers. Her life was paved by her values of love, compassion, and kindness.
Patti’s desire to help others led to a career at Bishop Noa Home, as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She spent over 20 years generously caring for the residents, and was cherished by the organization. She finally retired in 2017.
