GLADSTONE — Lynn L. LaPlant, age 77, of Gladstone, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 surrounded by family at his home.

Lynn was born in Escanaba, on November 9, 1947 the son of Luke and Loretta (Boubonaise) LaPlant. He attended and graduated from Gladstone Area Schools Class of 1966.

In addition to his loving wife Susan (Cole), Lynn is survived by:

Brother: Gary (Helen) LaPlant of Gladstone, MI,  Sister: Susan (Kenneth) Gustafson of Meridianville, Alabama, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, Brother-in-law: Michael (SonHi) Cole of Wylie, TX and Sisters-in-law: Carol (Michael) DeShambo of Escanaba, MI, Dorothy LaPlant and Bev LaPlant both of Gladstone, MI

In addition to his Parents, Lynn was preceded in death by:

Siblings: William, Betty, Larry, Lowell, Vern, Gary, Susan and Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law: Pat and Terri Cole.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A memorial mass will follow at 1:30 PM at the All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with Rev. Fr. Romeo Cappella officiating. Lynn will be interred in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
