Frederick Roy King

Roy served in the U.S. Army and later was the owner of King’s Heating and Cooling. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Escanaba, where he and his family lived for most of his life. Roy relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin and Lakewood Ranch, Florida 5 years ago.

Roy enjoyed watching softball, coaching Little League, golfing, boating, hunting, cruising, sitting on his lanai, and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Barbara; daughters Amy Bruntjens and her husband Troy; Julie Baumann and her husband Aaron; and Kristi Nelson and her husband Trent; sister Diane Lay; grandchildren Emily, Joshua, Ella, Cameron, Taylor, Jacob, Taylor, Emily and Elijah.

Roy will be interred at the National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. A celebration of Life will take place on August 30, 2025 at his daughter Kristi’s home at 4293 Hilton Head Drive, Hobart, Wisconsin from 1 to 4 p.m.
