DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — Dale Thomas Shandonay, 76, of Downers Grove, Ill., passed away on June 13, 2025. Beloved husband of Mary Shandonay, nee Douck; loving father of Joseph Shandonay, Timothy Shandonay, Laura Shandonay and Jessica (Alex) Valtierra; proud grandfather of Grace and Hannah Shandonay, Logan and Blake Valtierra; fond brother of James (Karol) Shandonay, Mary Lynn (Ed) Reischl, Janet (Rich) Beauvais, Michael (Marilyn) Shandonay and the late Barbara Shandonay; dear uncle of many. Lived in peace, died in peace. Taught us love, brought us love. Love never ends. Private family interment. Memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
