ESCANABA — Mildred “Mickey” C. Marenger, 95, of Escanaba, passed away May 21, 2025 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. She was born October 9, 1929 in Escanaba to Arthur and Irene (Burgo) Pouliot in Gladstone. She grew up in Escanaba and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1948. The former Mildred C. Mildred worked at the Terrace Bay as a waitress in her younger years when big bands would perform. When she was a little girl, Perry Como perched her on his knee and sang to her. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock. Mildred enjoyed hunting small game with her husband, along with camping and was an avid crafter. She loved music and bird watching and could name all of them. She was a sweet heart of a woman, always smiling and loved her family.
